Quantum Design proudly introduces its new MPMS SQUID VSM dc Magnetometer. This new member to the MPMS magnetometer family offers you ≤10-8 emu sensitivity with only 4 second data averaging. By combining the speed of a Vibrating Sample Magnetometer with the sensitivity of a SQUID (Superconducting QUantum Interference Device) magnetometer, this new system ushers in a new levels of performance in magnetic research. Joining the popular MPMS-XL line, the MPMS SQUID VSM gives researchers the choice between the world’s most versatile SQUID magnetometer and the fastest. The new MPMS SQUID VSM incorporates major advances in data acquisition, temperature control and magnetic field control.

Since its introduction in 1983, the Magnetic Property Measurement System (MPMS®) sample magnetometer has become the industry standard for performance and reliability. Utilizing Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) technology, combined with patented enhancements, the MPMS-XL sample magnetometer achieves superior measurement sensitivity, dynamic range, and reproducibility otherwise unattainable. The modular MPMS design integrates a SQUID detection system, a precision temperature control unit residing in the bore of a high-field superconducting magnet, and a sophisticated computer operating system.

The MPMS-XL provides solutions for a unique class of sensitive magnetic measurements in key areas such as high-temperature superconductivity, biochemistry, and magnetic recording media. VersaLab by Quantum Design, Inc.

Quantum Design introduces its first portable cryogen-free cryocooler-based Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) – VersaLab. With a sensitivity of better than 10-6 emu/√Hz, this 3-tesla VSM has an experimental temperature range of 50 to 400 K.

As with all Quantum Design instruments, VersaLab VSM is a fully automated turnkey system with a user-friendly interface. VersaLab is specifically designed for magnetic characterization up to 3 teslas and over a wide temperature range without the need of liquid cryogens.

The Quantum Design PPMS® represents a much desired concept in laboratory equipment: an open architecture, variable temperature-field system, designed to perform a variety of automated measurements. PPMS®-SPM by attocube Systems

Our new partner attocube has recently introduced a highly sophisticated yet easy-to-use scanning probe microscope - the new PPMS®-SPM. Due to its modular design and interchangeable microscopy head, the PPMS®-SPM can be operated in a variety of microscopic odes such as Atomic Force (AFM), Magnetic Force (MFM), Confocal Microscopy (CFM) and Scanning Hall Probe microscopy (SHPM).

The PPMS®-SPM is designed for plug-and-play compatibility with the popular PPMS® (Physical Property Measurement System) and provides access to a large variety of experimental conditions. Scans are possible even at cryogenic temperatures and with large magnetic fields.

TPS spectra 3000 from TeraView is the world's first commercial terahertz spectrometer capable of performing both transmission and attenuated total reflection (ATR) measurements. Based upon TeraView’s proprietary semiconductor-based, terahertz pulsed technology, TPS spectra 3000 yields superior analytical performance - all while operating under ambient conditions.  In addition, the model TPS spectra 3000 CF enables THz spectroscopy to be performed on super and semi-conducting materials and other sample types within a range of temperatures from 2.3K to 300K.

TPS spectra 3000’s modular sample compartment accepts standard IR sampling accessories for transmission measurements, and can provide insight into:

The Liquid Helium Plants allow the user to liquefy helium from any room temperature helium source.   They are ideal for laboratories to manage their own liquid helium consumption and conservation.  The unique properties of the Pulse Tube Cryocoolers provide for high production rates and low input power.
